Blemish Balm

(1 customer review)

Blemish Balm is crafted from sunflower oil infused with rosemary, thyme, and dandelion, melted into a locally-sourced beeswax. The rosemary and thyme are tended in the Mamie’s Way Garden, while dandelion grows happily and abundantly in my yard.

Sunflower oil is rich in Vitamin E and omega-6 fatty acids, both of which nourish the skin. Rosemary and thyme have demonstrated antimicrobial actions. Topical application of rosemary can alleviate pain and inhibit the growth of acne-producing bacteria. Thyme also has demonstrated the ability to eliminate the bacteria that causes acne and other skin blemishes, in some cases more effectively than prescription creams. Dandelion contains antioxidants that repair damaged cells, compounds that protect the skin from sun damage, and has demonstrated anti-inflammatory abilities. Infusing the sunflower oil with rosemary, thyme, and dandelion creates a potent treatment to address minor blemishes and nourish the skin.

Recipes promoting the use of rosemary and thyme for skin care date back thousands of years. Blemish Balm enables you to carry on this tradition and care for your own skin with these natural ingredients! Blemish Balm is available in a convenient 5ml stick for targeted application.

I’ve been using Mamie’s Way Blemish Balm for several months now, and I love the way the age spots on my face have gradually faded. While using the balm, I also went through the entire summer without new spots developing as they had for the past couple of summers. Thank you!
